The 17th season of the NYMSL is a time of change. Two founding members – High Times and Institutional Investor – are no longer in the league. They've been replaced by Associated Press and Axios. Welcome!

Chartbeat is the reigning champs for the last two seasons. The other teams are BuzzFeed, Forbes and Wall Streeet Journal. Teams play each other twice during the regular season in home-and-home competition. The top four teams make the playoffs which takes place in September. Games are played on City fields in Central Park, Riverside Park and East River Park in Manhattan and McCarren Park in Brooklyn.
